چکیده

Wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) production requires a large amount of nitrogen (N) supply because growers aim to achieve high grain yield and appropriate protein content simultaneously. A comprehensive understanding the mechanisms that underpin efficient N usage at limited in wheat can facilitate development new N-saving varieties this major crop. Here, we performed comparative analysis flag leaf responses availability soft red winter with contrasting use efficiency (NUE); VA08MAS-369 (high NUE) VA07W-415 (low NUE). This study demonstrated accelerated senescence along enhanced breakdown starch leaves was correlated higher yield, NUE for under limitation. The more dramatic reductions compounds carbohydrate reserves were linked significantly elevated expression genes enzymes associated these metabolic pathways genotype. Consistent gene data, nitrate reductase, glutamine synthetase, NAD-dependent glutamate dehydrogenase activities highly induced VA08MAS-369. It previously reported contributes increased regular supply. provides molecular physiological evidence vigorous remobilization also benefit deprivation.

Study of genetic diversity in bread wheat germplasm using nitrogen uptake and nitrogen use efficiency characteristics

In order to evaluate the traits related to nitrogen utilization and to identify the superior genotypes, 33 bread wheat landraces along three check cultivars of Chamran and Koohdasht (from Iran) and Gobustan (from the Republic of Azerbaijan) were studied in simple lattice statistical design with two replications under two treatments of non-usage and application of 200 kg/ha ammonium nitrate fert...

Nitrogen metabolism and remobilization during senescence.

Senescence is a highly organized and well-regulated process. As much as 75% of total cellular nitrogen may be located in mesophyll chloroplasts of C(3)-plants. Proteolysis of chloroplast proteins begins in an early phase of senescence and the liberated amino acids can be exported to growing parts of the plant (e.g. maturing fruits). Rubisco and other stromal enzymes can be degraded in isolated ...

Efficiency of nitrogen fertilization in spring wheat

An assessment of the nitrogen fertilization efficiency should not only include quantitativeand qualitative yield changes, but also an analysis of formation some indicators such as: Nharvest index (NHI), N use efficiency (NUE), N utilization efficiency (NUtE), N agronomicefficiency (NAE), N physiological efficiency (NPE) and N apparent recovery fraction (NRF).The objective of the study was the e...

Investigating the Combined Effect of Tillage, Nitrogen Fertilization and Cover Crops on Nitrogen Use Efficiency in Winter Wheat

A field study was conducted in northern France over two consecutive years to evaluate the combined effect of conventional tillage (CT) vs no till (NT) with or without cover crops (cc) and nitrogen (N) fertilization on various agronomic traits related to N use efficiency in winter wheat. Five years after conversion of CT to NT, significant increases in N use efficiency, N utilization efficiency,...
